I'm Addicted to My Phone and It's Destroying My Ability to Think
I'm addicted to my phone — and it was destroying my ability to think.
57% of Americans say they're addicted to their phones. I am too. This isn't just a productivity problem. I realized I couldn't sit with a single thought, I was borrowing opinions from the algorithm, and I'd forgotten how to actually research and wrestle with a book. My phone wasn't just wasting my time, it was atrophying my brain.
So every night, my phone, iPad, and laptop stay in my church office overnight. Here's what happened.
My name is Davis and here on Petra Publications mostly I just review reformed Christian books — inviting the Church to read deeply again.
