- Author: William S. Plumer (1802 – 1807)
- Life: He was ill most of his life, which prohibited him from entering the military and being a farmer. Instead, after his conversion, Plumer became a Baptist minister. While a minister, Plumer continued his education by briefly considering becoming a doctor and studying medicine. After some time there, he decided to go into law and became a lawyer. He was a very well-studied man and did great work for the Lord.
