Unboxing The ESV Heirloom Reader's Bible Set
Today I have something very special: the ESV Heirloom Reader's set, the cowhide version with the walnut slipcase. This is just a box-opening video, and later we will do a review of this set.
I purchased this set from Evangelical Bible, which was my first experience with their company, and I was very pleased. There's a handwritten invoice and a little card, and the packaging is great: Styrofoam on every part of the box to protect it. (Apologies for the background. The box was so big I couldn't fit it anywhere else.)
The box itself is beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. It comes with a little booklet, and each set is packaged with Styrofoam in the back, which also lets you lift it out the first time.
The slipcase and the volumes
Then the walnut slipcase. It's Amish-made, and it is simply gorgeous. Nothing is glued: it's all slipped together by hand, and there's just enough room to slip a finger in and pull one of the volumes out.
The set comes in six volumes, and they are so soft. They feel good in the hands, and they're going to be lovely to just sit down and read:
- The Pentateuch
- The Historical Books
- Poetry
- The Prophets
- The Gospels and Acts
- The Epistles and Revelation
What a nice-looking set. I'm super pleased with it, and I will be doing a review on it very soon.
Soli Deo Gloria!
